Costume

Finally after a long writers block, I managed to write a poem,

You wear a dark mask,
so no one knows who you are,
for a while, for sometime,
the the mask becomes you,
it reaches your soul,
and while you think you are still the same,
the darkness has become you.

For you

I like the expression "the mask becomes you" where "becomes" can either be changes or suits you. However the poem seems to imply that it has taken something away. Intriguing.

Hey, thanks for visiting my blog and commenting. I loved the pictures above but wanted to comment on the poem, since I took up that same challenge. Like Robin, one can see this poem either way - you taking something on or losing something crucial. I loved it. Glad we exchanged Sunday Scribblings! Peace, Amy Barlow Liberatore
